Chirp Test
[s3secureurl bucket=’warssharedfiles’ target=’/public/chirpx.csv’ expires=’25’]chirpx.csv[/s3secureurl]
This file is a test of chirp it contains D-Star entries, you can cut these out in chirp by setting memories to 700 and sorting on URCALL.
Automated generation of these configuration files involves gathering data from several sources. 3 main files are used to develop the specific files for different models.
Source Files
- [s3secureurl bucket=’warssharedfiles’ target=’/public/vkrepdir.csv’ expires=’25’]vkrepdir.csv[/s3secureurl] – This file contains information from vkrep.csv and the expansion of many other fields. Different systems seem to want information such as Offset and Tone in different formats. Some derive the input frequency from output and offset and some need specific entry.
- [s3secureurl bucket=’warssharedfiles’ target=’/public/vkrepstd.csv’ expires=’25’]vkrepstd.csv[/s3secureurl] – This file contains several customised entries such as APRS, Wicen simplex and other test entries like DHAP’s.
** NEW ** DMR contact file
- DMR contacts are too big to load to most radios, as contacts. However several specific entries are required to program channels, these should be loaded first. Entries beyond 999 often appear to load into the contacts space, they often don’t work when referenced as the contact for a channel.
- I had to drop the NZ entries as the list got too long.
- I no longer personally load callsigns as contacts. Instead I use one of the updated “CSV” firmwares to load the 100,000 user tables on MD-380/MD-2017/RT-82… style radios”
- [s3secureurl bucket=’warssharedfiles’ target=’/public/DMR/contacts.csv’ expires=’25’]contacts.csv[/s3secureurl] – DMR extract of VK and PNG contacts generated with the config files monthly.
- I had to drop the NZ entries as the list got too long.
- [s3secureurl bucket=’warssharedfiles’ target=’/public/DMR/cont-n0gsg.csv’ expires=’25’]cont-n0gsg.csv[/s3secureurl] – DMR extract of VK and PNG contacts generated with the config files monthly. If you have recommendations for more simplex entries or other items please send them to vk2psf at arrl dot net.
